Once again I am confused by the Tea Party and Republicans.

They claim that the Health Care Law is socialism and should not have been passed, yet they say they want the US Government to control medical costs.

If the first is socialism isn’t the second also socialism?

Just a thought, but if the Founding Fathers of the USA were anti big government why did they find it necessary to stop the citizens from electing the country’s president? In case you forgot, the people don’t elect the president the Electoral College does. And they are not bound by the constitution to vote for the person that the people vote for!

My Fortune Cookie said: “You are going to meet a tall, dark, stranger.”

This was about a month ago! I still have not met anyone that would meet that description. Hummmmmmm… come to think about it I have not met any strangers since then. The fortune cookie must have been wrong? Or perhaps I just don’t get out enough?

Though I am not sure why I would want to meet a tall, dark, stranger? This is all just so upsetting. What is one to do? Will something bad happen because the fortune cookie is wrong? Or perhaps a month is not long enough for it to work?

Oh well all this thinking has make me hungry! Please, pass me another fortune cookie, maybe it will make more sense?

Wealth Care not Health Care

Don’t like the idea of government sticking its nose into your health? There is a group out there that agrees with you! And they are hopping mad! They like you firmly believe that if people don’t have and can’t afford health care, it is their fault and that God hates them.

Like you one of the things they believe is that if you can’t afford to go to the doctor, that it should not be a problem as bandages and ibuprofen are cheap. So what is the issue?

As to death panels by the government their belief is that their companies decide that issue well enough on their own and the government should not get in the way of death panels for profit.

As to rationing health care they firmly believe it is their job to do that.

And like the right, they believe that socialism must be stopped and so they propose that we stop Medicare and even VA benefits.

And of course they believe that nothing says freedom like denying claims for health care.

I would say that if their belief’s can be summed up in just a few words, it would be this:

If We ain’t broke don’t fix it!

A few questions for the Obama birther movement!

If Obama was born in Kenya does that make the US a British colony or British Commonwealth?

And should he be called a Protectorate General or Governor or Minister? Or perhaps like Canada a Prime Minister?

Does that mean that the Declaration of Independence is no longer valid?

Maybe, more importantly, does that mean I will have to learn to drink tea? YUCK!!!
